Full itinerary

Day 1 Climbing Pasochoa. Transfer form Quito to Hacienda Santa Rita Ecological Reserve (1H30), where we start our climb to Pasochoa Volcano Summit. We start hiking through trails of High Andean Forest which are under conservation at Santa Rita. After 5 hours climbing, and passing by different ecosystems, we reach the summit of the Volcano which has an altitude of 4200 m / 13.776 ft. Packed Lunch. We reach our vehicle which will transfer us to Hacienda El Porvenir. Dinner and overnight stay at Hacienda El Porvenir.

Day 2 Rumiñahui Volcano Hacienda Breakfast. We start our hike on the slopes of Rumiñahui Volcano, through exclusive trails at Hacienda El Porvenir. We will traverse agricultural fields and reach the high grasslands of the paramo. On the way we might see herds of wild horses grazing freely, and wild cattle. Once we reach the base of the rock we start climbing through s steep sand slope until we reach the Central Summit (4634 m / 15200 ft.) of Rumiñahui Volcano (4722 m / 15488 ft.) Packed Lunch and return to the Hacienda El Porvenir house. Our climb takes approximately 7 hours round trip. Dinner and overnight at Hacienda El Porvenir.

Day 3 Cotopaxi Rope Course and  hike at Hacienda El Porvenir  Hacienda Breakfast. Today we will make a short hike on the exclusive trails around the Hacienda, were we visit Manto Blanco waterfall, the conservation areas that have been reforested with native trees for conservation and the agricultural surroundings. Lunch at the Hacienda. During the afternoon we will have some fun on the Cotopaxi High Rope Course, just next to the hacienda house. Dinner and overnight stay at the Hacienda.

Day 4 Cotopaxi Glaciers After breakfast we will try our mountain climbing gear. Early lunch at Hacienda El Porvenir and transfer on our vehicle to the car park of the Refugio Jose Ribas. From there we will climb to the hut (4800 m / 15.744 ft). During the afternoon we will practice safety and mountain climbing techniques with our specialized climbing guide, and we will get accuinted with the gear. Dinner and rest. 23H00 we prepare ourselves for the climb that will lead us to Cotopaxi Summit (5897 m / 19.342 ft.) Calorie rich snack before departing.

Day 5 Climbing Cotopaxi The climb to the Summit takes form 6-8 hours aprox., and 3-4 hours down. Our vehicle will be waiting for us at the car park and will transfer us to Hacienda El Porvenir. Lunch and hot shower at El Porvenir. Return to Quito 14H00.
